Master Thesis

Publishing your Master Thesis

Did you know it is possible to publish your master thesis in the Research Collection? All you need is a letter of recommendation from your supervisor. You can find further information on the final thesis section.

Available topic

2021-06-04 The Air Quality and Particle Technology group at Institute of Environmental Engineering at ETH Zurich is offering a Master project/thesis opportunity with focus on data analysis and machine learning for atmospheric pollutants.

The goal is to build a suitable model to reveal the complex nonlinear relationships between peroxyacetyl nitrate (PAN) pollution and the influencing factors (including both meteorological factors and other air pollutants) with the potential to publish in top-tier environmental science venues. The results can be used by future studies on air pollutants and for guiding environmental policies. Student(s) will gain hands-on experience in data analysis and machine learning and will get a comprehensive understanding of statistical learning. The detailed description can be found Download here (PDF, 111 KB).

Earliest start: anytime; Latest end: 2022-03-20.
